10 Great Free Fonts
Fonts are a necessity for any designer of any sort. And even if you’re not a designer, a few sweet-looking fonts never hurt anybody.
I’ve compiled a list of 10 beautifully designed fonts. They’re all free, and some of them are released for use for anything! It’s a great list of fonts, and they’re quite useful in some way.
Enjoy it. They’re all linked to web pages with links to download it.
Scriptina: Script font. Looks incredibly clean and elegant. A lot of people use this font for wedding invitations and the like.
Monika: Monika is a hand-written cursive-like font.
DIGITAL: High-tech looking font with a lot of promise for technology-related. Uppercase seems to just bold it, though, so that might be the author’s intention.
Saginaw: Hand-written font that looks extremely elegant. I wish I wrote like that…
dearJoe: This font has a certain handwritten tack to it, and it has a bad-yet-good look to it. It looks neat, although it looks messy, although it looks neat.
Freebooter Script: This font has a certain rustic sense to it. I don’t want to say something lame here, but it looks great for headers. It might get tedious if you use this for body text.
Anonymous Clippings: It’s everyone’s favorite look: the you-cant-get-my-fingerprints font!
Angelina: Just neat somehow. It just is. Don’t ask me why.
Street Soul: Unleash your inner graffiti, you street soul.
Aladdin: Strong Arabic-ness, but also looks quite caligraphic.
BONUS TEN-BAJILLION:
I got a lot of these fonts from a really great site called Urban Fonts. Ever since the last one I went to corrupted my entire system and forced me to boot into Safe Mode Command Line and then CMD those files out, I’m feeling quite cautious about fonts on the Internet.
Urban Fonts haven’t failed me yet. The constant stream of amazing, free, and good fonts just amazes me. Good fonts are hard to come by.
